Also, better grab bars in the bathrooms would enhance accessibility. Overall, it felt welcoming and suited for families like mine.

The king room was spacious, clean, and well maintained. The location was excellent, within walking distance to numerous bars and restaurants in Carlsbad Village. The staff was friendly and helpful, and I appreciated the included amenities like beach chairs and umbrella for a modest resort fee.

The only downside was the need for more tables and umbrellas on the lawn area.

I was extremely disappointed with the cleanliness of our room. The bathroom had not been properly cleaned, with dust on the tile baseboards and rust on the light fixtures. Moreover, the toilet was so low it was difficult for my older parents to use. We expected better upkeep for the rate we paid.
